How OrgTrax treats your data

We never connect to your bank. OrgTrax has no bank logins, no account linking, no third-party financial connections of any kind. Nothing in this app can reach your money. You type in (or import from files you download yourself) exactly what you choose to share, and that is all OrgTrax ever has.

What we store. Your email address (it's your login), and the records you create: ledgers, transactions, budgets, contacts, and the other data you enter while using the modules. That's it. No analytics profiles, no advertising identifiers, no trackers.

Who can see it. Your data is private to your account by default, and shared only when you explicitly share it with another user. Honestly stated: the operator of OrgTrax can technically access the database that holds your data, like any small service you use. We treat that access as an emergency tool — debugging a problem you report, recovering something you lost — never as something to browse.

Our promises. Backups are encrypted. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it — and we'll hand you an export of your data first. Your data is never sold, never shared with advertisers, never used for anything except running OrgTrax for you.

A tip worth taking. You never need to put real account numbers in OrgTrax. Name your ledgers things like "Blue checking" or "Household card" — the app works exactly the same, and your records stay meaningless to anyone but you.
