Terms of use

The short version. OrgTrax is a personal productivity tool, currently invite-only. Be honest, don't abuse the service, and remember that OrgTrax is a place to keep your records — not professional advice.

Your account. Accounts are created by invitation. You're responsible for what happens under your login; keep your password to yourself. You can close your account at any time and take your data with you (see the trust page).

What OrgTrax is — and isn't. OrgTrax helps you track and organize: money records, household payroll records, fiduciary reports, visits, and similar personal data. It is not a bank, not an accounting firm, and not a source of financial, legal, or tax advice. The numbers are yours; checking them is yours too. Reports OrgTrax generates (for example fiduciary filings) are drafts for your review — you are responsible for what you file.

Acceptable use. Don't use OrgTrax to store data you have no right to hold, don't attempt to access other users' data, and don't attack or overload the service. We can suspend accounts that do.

The service. OrgTrax is provided as-is, without warranty. We work to keep it available and correct, but we're a small operation and can't promise uninterrupted service. Our liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us (currently: nothing).

Changes. If these terms change, we'll say so in the app before the change takes effect. The version date at the bottom of this page tells you which terms you're reading.
